Locksmith, the California rapper/producer Sway compared to Jay-Z, shares his darkest memories in the Young Gunz-directed visuals for “Hardest Song Ever.” Produced by Locksmith and Mike Blankenship, Locksmith features Leah Tysse on the hardest song he’s ever had to write. On the first single from his recent album A Thousand Cuts, he presents his personal story of child abuse. The Young Gunz did well to bring the song to life, with shots as powerful – and empowering – as the music itself. Locksmith says “If my personal story can help any other person that is suffering, then I have truly accomplished something special.” A Thousand Cuts [Explicit] is out now.
