SuCoo and John Q of the Orlando-based All My Homies collective channel Gotenks and gang up on 5 groovy cuts on their brand new joint EP SupaQ. The two infectious emcees spit with hindsight-ful introspection, blessing us with provocative rhetoric that ranges from experiences with relationship insecurities to their individual struggles against quid pro quo. For now, “Bad Influence” and “Backseat Confessions” are the tracks I’m favoring most. However at only 5-tracks, it’s easy to play through in full back to back and get lost in the syncopation.
