2015 was a long year for Meek Mill. We all know how it went down, and in hopes of recovering, Meek Mill has surprised us with a 4 song mixtape, naturally in continuation with his Dreamchasers Series. We gave it a listen and I’ve come to the conclusion that Meek Mill is only good at intro tracks. Which is not a bad thing. Think of him as a specialty 3 point shooter in the NBA, or like a Field Goal Kicker in Football. When you really need just one solid win, you can insert them into your lineup because the odds work in your favor. With that being said, and in all honesty, 4/4 was not actually a bad project. For it is that Meek Mill flow, that slays intros with consistency, but is almost mind numbing by the 4th or 5th record. What that too rough? We’ve appropriately titled this post, Another One, because Pray For Em was just another intro made of straight flames. After that, we’re left searching for progression and growth and refinement. Maybe after this project, he’ll drop ANOTHER ONE!
