St. Pete emcee Dabron Kain is back with another passion-fueled wave for the people. Following up his debut album, Dabron shows definitive growth with 9 original cuts on the expansive new album Trial & Era. The project starts off slow, easing the listener into the world of “Kxng Kain” – a track which easily has some of the dopest production on the joint. If you follow our endeavors here at the Nation, you’ve probably already spazzed out to “I Used To Dream” with the visionary Cambatta. You would have also had a chance to catch the wave on “King Midas Flow”, a record we took a liking to early on and have been shopping around (check out the ‘Creed 2’ Trailer below). The vibe on Trial & Era wavers, ranging from inspirational tracks like “Be You” to the more heavy, eerie slappers like “Sirens”. Tampa artist Rebeka Vi – whom we just posted for the first time just recently – makes quite an impression on “Lay Ya’ Lovn”. All in all there are some awesome melodies and songwriting throughout the offering – with memorable hooks and a few dope quotables – all over a full spectrum of crispy production. Burn up and catch the groove:
